The city tore out some trees and planted these along our streeta few years ago. For some reason, ours is always the last
to get leaves -- usually in August. Without much
sunshine this year, it must think it should
stay asleep -- there are very few leaves sprouting.

sunflower
sunflower came up volunteer from where we fed the birds this past winter. Just mowed around it and now appreciating that I left it as we are enjoying watching the goldfinch feast on the seeds from our patio door.

Blue Tie
On the way to church this past Sunday...Papa was wearing his blue tie and Josefine was loving it. Pointing and saying "Boo!" for "Blue!" :)
the Local Team Lost
Macyn was clearly done with the baseball game.This is how everyone felt about the scoring as well.
