90 day photo project: May 30, 2010

I was too tired to feel creative today, so I grabbed some of my kids' paint and...well here it is.

There is a sports park close to our home in Ventura. We drive

by it every day on our way to work, but rarely spend time there. With

such beautiful weather, we decided to take a long walk around the park. This

is the entrance -- we never noticed the blue-glass river flowing from the sign.

The park started out with a public pool and has grown to include baseball and

soccer fields. It's normally very busy, but today was calm and peaceful.

A perfect Sunday afternoon.

We went on a little family get away this weekend and went to the zoo. It was a good day to see the lions! Magnificent creatures.
