Red Paint

>> Monday, May 31, 2010

Today was a busy day at our house...cleaning up drywall dust, organizing - or rather - purging, and PAINTING! Where I don't enjoy EVERY aspect of painting (just being honest here) I do LOVE the outcome and the life it brings to a room. Today - we painted the bathroom Summer Song. Yes, that's the color name. Although I chose it for it's kind of melon-y, sherbert-y look, Jim swears it's red. And...after two coats, dried. It looked very...RED. :) Not Fire Engine Red, per se...but, a Firey Red of sorts. Thus was born my Color Entry for today...

My middle son waiting for the parade to start.

flags on display at St. Paul Cemetery Memorial Day weekend. I am really enjoying viewing photos and find myself being a bit more creative than is typical of me. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this project.

Remembering

Thankful for the sacrifices men and women have made to
preserve the freedoms we are blessed with in the USA

Memorial Day

The drive out of a local cemetery this Memorial Day.

Mr. Toad prays for freedom.

Had a barbecue with family...and of course the girls found a frog/toad. Poor little guy. Luckily, he survived captivity, and is out catching flies.

Red Block

We're finally home! That means Josefine can get back to some of her favorite toys...one of them being a set of fun colored and shaped blocks that she loves to carry around and clink together. This photo shows a much quieter version (and less drooly).
