since I missed a couple postings and these photos go together, took the liberty of posting them together. This is a resurrection fern. during the dry weather it looks like the bottom photo, rain greens it up as shown in photo above. I rescued this bit of limb in Alabama when we were clearing timber, it hibernates in basement in winter months, out in spring! Learning to say "GO!" We put Josefine's Eric Carle Lion a few inches in front of her and would say "GO!" when it was time to "fetch" her lion. By the end of our "game" she was saying "Ga!" :)
So cute!
In Northwest Iowa today. Had to stop and take pictures of these HUGE windmills!
