since I missed a couple postings and these photos go together, took the liberty of posting them together. This is a resurrection fern. during the dry weather it looks like the bottom photo, rain greens it up as shown in photo above. I rescued this bit of limb in Alabama when we were clearing timber, it hibernates in basement in winter months, out in spring! Orange Lion
Learning to say "GO!" We put Josefine's Eric Carle Lion a few inches in front of her and would say "GO!" when it was time to "fetch" her lion. By the end of our "game" she was saying "Ga!" :)
So cute!
Windmills
In Northwest Iowa today. Had to stop and take pictures of these HUGE windmills!

Went to a wedding tonight! It was beautiful! I loved the decorations. To the right of the picture is one of their table decorations. If you look close you can see the goldfish in the vase! Loved that idea! Congrats Niki and Nate!
Hummingbird
Put the feeder out a week ago but saw one stop by yesterday. I went out today with the camera and it didn't take long. This little guy showed up many times.
Red Heart ♥
Today is our LAST Red Day! :) So, we thought we'd do something special...something to say "I LOVE YOU." We cut a little red heart out of construction paper. I guess you could say it's the first Valentine from me to Josefine. When first given the heart, she tried putting it on her head, like a hat. Our favorite "game" to play with the paper heart was to attach it to a tree and for her to pull herself up on the trunk and get it for me...and we did that over and over and over again. :) Sweet time with my Josefine...always something I love. ♥ ♥ ♥

Red Bow
Another "Fun in the Sun" day today. I got Josefine a cute little $7 swimming pool from WalMart and a new swimsuit (LOVE IT!) that doesn't give her diaper wedgies (poor girl)...so, we headed outside, but...holy cow, that girl has some crazy hair, and it's been too hot to let it just "be." So, on our way out the door, I grabbed her clippie bow that we've had since...well, since before she was born. I was hopeful she would have oodles of hair, and that she did! Anyway - it's mostly my favorite because it was one of her first hair dealy-bobs. So, there you have it...our "red" for the day.
Lego Mania!
The boys played with legos last night for most of the night! Zach brought up his 4 totes of legos for the boys to play with. They made a mess but had fun!

Dang it! I did it again -- i posted after midnight. Well this post is for 6/2.... This is what my hubbie does while i mess with photos or scrapbook... it's his passion... whatever.. lol
Red Bowl
We hoped to go to the Splash Park today, but it seems to be closed until school is out (well, that's my guess anyway). So, Josefine and I made our own Splash "Park" out of a collection of colorful mixing bowls I have...one conveniently happened to be RED! ;) Splish, Splash!
