Wet Cowboy

This is a picture I took Saturday at our Bus kids rodeo.. It rained almost the entire time. The rodeo itself was in the show ring , but all the riders stayed wet coming and going .... check out the rain drop on the back of his hat and the rain in the background.

Orange Cone

>> Sunday, June 13, 2010

While traveling, we often see roads under construction. Green River, Wyoming was one such place...only this road wasn't under construction, we just borrowed the cone for the picture. :) It's nice that gas stations apparently have those things just sitting around...in case of construction, or in case someone wants to take pictures of her handsome hubby and adorable baby with one.

Finally at Gramma's

After 500 miles, Titus and Macyn were excited
to finally arrive in Iowa at Grampa and Gramma's house.
They both love to play with the letters on the fridge.

Saved!

Andrew and I were on our way out to Grandma and Grandpa's and found this little guy on the road. Andrew was so excited we saved him! Now he has a new home in the pond behind the Grandparents house. I love seeing the boys so excited about animals!

I started noticing these purple trees in Camarillo last year
and thought they were beautiful. They are currently
blooming again -- spotted this one after church today.

Orange...ORANGE!

What could play the role of "orange" better than...you guessed it, an ORANGE!

We're on the road now, and we got as far as Council Bluffs with a little car issue. Only to find that our car seems to be "bluffing" it's condition (electrical connection...we hope). It, too, must realize what a long trip we have ahead of us. So...we're chillin' in front of an empty shop at the Mall of the Bluffs after a visit with Grandma while Jim checked out the car. It's perfectly normal to see us using an orange as a ball for playtime (hey - ya gotta get creative on the road, folks). It's even more normal to see me taking pictures of it. *wink*

Poor Josefine realized not long after this shot, that orange rinds are a little bitter.

. day 25 .

It's been quite the rainy day. Crazy loud storm woke me up this morning :) Went to the carnival our chiropractors office was having and they offered face painting, instead of face I chose my hand. Cloudy with rain just seemed appropriate.
